$42.00 to $60.00 hourly.
A prestigious health system is seeking a Business Analyst for a position located in the San Fernando Valley. The Decision Support Analyst will be responsible for analysis of detailed clinical information related to physician activity (patient volume, diagnoses/interventions, etc.). The Business Analyst will also be responsible for clinical reporting on population health, isolating aspects of the population based on disease states (heart disease, diabetes, etc.) to determine efficacy of clinical interventions and diagnostic tests. Results from this analysis will inform next steps for groups of patients, including enrolling patients in workshops or programs to improve adherence/persistence. The Business Analyst will use data from their EMR, claims systems, pharmacy, and imaging systems to perform this analysis. Prior technical experience with EPIC, SQL, Access, and Excel is required for this individual to hit the ground running. Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree is required; 3 years of experience utilizing SQL, Business Objects, and VBA is required.2 years of healthcare experience.
