Data Coordinator

Jacobs is the worlds top supplier of automotive test facilities, providing a full range of services to commercial automotive industry customers . Customers include not only the worlds major vehicle providers and other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), but also clients from the international motor sports community.

Our experience encompasses virtually every type of automotive test facility , including climatic and driveability wind tunnels; aerodynamic, acoustic, and thermodynamic wind tunnels; emissions test rooms; soak rooms; altitude chambers; engine and powertrain test cells; and electromagnetic anechoic chambers. We not only design and build these facility systems assets but also operate, maintain, and manage these facilities.

Job Description

  • Maintain Purchasing Records
  • Invoice Reconciliation
  • Generate Purchase Requests


  • General clerical skills and familiarity with standard office procedures, equipment, including computers and office systems.
  • Demonstrated Ability to Effectively Analyze large amounts of data
  • High levels of organization relentless attention to detail
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Macros
  • Strong drive to deliver process improvements, and a proven ability to streamline processes
  • Moderate level of proficiency in Share.
    Point sites, including document storage, controlled access and document versioning.
  • Financial acumen, strong team orientation, communication and organizational skills are necessary.



  • Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration plus a minimum of one (1) year of appropriate and progressive experience; additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience.
  • Ability to use high level functions of Excel for calculations, formatting and data manipulation (including pivot tables) and recording macros.
  • Writing macros in Visual Basic and proficiency in database manipulation.

Criticality of Attendance

  • Overtime, regular days, off days: Monday through Friday.
  • Shift, 1st, 2nd, 3rd: Day Shift 7am to 3:30pm, but shift assignment is subject to change, so candidate must be flexible with available work hours. Possibility of moving to a day shift for several months at a time.
  • Necessity for regular attendance: Critical, 100%
  • Urgency for punctuality: Critical, 100%
  • Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary. Must have flexibility of work afternoons to cover weekend testing requirements.
