VP, Regional Sales

The Vice President of Regional MDU Sales is responsible for the execution of all sales initiatives, achieving or exceeding sales goals, influencing and driving growth to ensure short and long term revenue expansion. The VP of Regional MDU sales is accountable for the development and implementation of innovative sales programs while ensuring these programs align with overall business strategy. This role will interface strongly with Charters local markets to ensure appropriate negotiation of local and national contracts, access agreements, and marketing agreements. This role will interface directly with marketing and product teams to ensure a holistic strategy for addressing the end-user in the MDU marketplace as well as the property owner and/or leasing agent.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Align the sales teams objectives with overall business strategy through active participation in MDU strategic planning, sales strategy development, and sales resource planning and budgeting. Analyze sales data to provide accurate targets and forecasts, ensuring projections are in line with operational goals and overall company growth strategy. Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks. Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales coverage models and compensation and incentive programs. Provides financial modeling and analysis with interdepartmental leaders to forecast monthly financials. Identifies and oversees system, corporate and cross-departmental tools, processes, and MDU workforce needs to push the MDU strategy forward resulting in improved customer experience, internal efficiencies, team member performance and revenue leakage mitigation. Drive market growth and lead sales & partnerships with full accountability to deliver revenue. Capture market share, grow revenues and generate profitable business within all assigned channels and across all product categories. Deliver against aggressive monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. Develop and manage planning and execution of all new MDU initiatives, ensuring customer experience is optimized and key sales objectives and revenue targets are met. Leverage customer insights to identify business opportunities and strategies; proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and satisfaction by engaging with accounts. Collaborate closely with Marketing team to develop collateral materials, sales tools and promotions that drive customer acquisition, retention and growth.

Ability to analyze and interpret data Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner Ability to communicate with all levels of management, company personnel, vendors/service providers, and customers (new and existing) Ability to listen to an interpret the needs of the customer Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects at one time Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties Ability to supervise and motivate others Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.) Ability to use automated reporting and analysis applications preferred Ability to maintain professional demeanor in stressful situations. Knowledge of marketing strategies and procedures Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services


Bachelors degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience MBA preferred Related Work
