VP, Digital Installment Leader

Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose As a critical member of the Multi
- Account Dashboard Agile train and Consumer Servicing team, this leadership role is responsible for helping drive & achieve Synchrony's business objectives with focusing on digital installment consumer servicing property that will allow installment consumers to service their accounts. This leader will need to possess both strategic and execution-oriented expertise to deliver technology-driven and innovative solutions for our installment consumers. This individual will be directly responsible for identifying customer experience solutions that are key to Synchrony goals and working cross-functionally. This position is currently remote, where you'll be work from home, but may be required to work in one of our offices in the future or occasionally commute to one our offices for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. We're proud to offer you flexibility, so candidates will be considered who live near any of Synchrony locations: Alpharetta, GA, Altamonte Springs, FL, Bentonville, AR, Boise, ID, Canton, OH, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Costa Mesa, CA, Draper, UT, Kettering, OH, Marlborough ,MA, Merriam, KS, New York, NY, Phoenix, AZ, San Francisco, CA, St. Paul, MN or Stamford, CT Essential Functions/Responsibilities Manage, develop and drive Synchrony new digital installment servicing platform roadmap inclusive of the consumer and partner vision as well as relevant marketplace trends and competitive assessments. Manage and prioritize the flow of work, including coordination of multiple teams using Scaled Agile methodology. Participate and co-lead the Agile Program Increment (PI) planning to define releases. Participate and co-lead the product steering committee meetings and work with stakeholders on prioritization and issues. Work with system architect/engineering to understand Enabler work. Participate in product demos and Inspect and Adapt activities. Work with CX Strategist to understand and incorporate industry insights, consumer research, market analysis, and benchmarking of digital apply capabilities / roadmap against competition. Partner with client and product marketing resources to deliver product and commercialization materials, define client rollout schedules for new features and deliver internal communication messaging. Partner with analytics to develop, monitor and report on key metrics / KPIs for digital apply capabilities to assess the success of the product and features and determine necessary enhancements. Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 7 years of marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries4+ years marketing experience that includes: A proven track record of launching new products or applications with digital properties demonstrated business impact.
Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience with Agile Scrum framework acting in the Product Owner role.
Agile / SAFe Product Owner Product Manager Certification Desired

Qualifications

10+ years in financial services or other highly regulated industry5+ years managing people and teams3+ years in Digital and/or Product Management experience.
Strong background working with clients, reporting on performance and delivering results. Current on financial services, payments industry trends, competitors, emerging technologies and companies.
Strong technical knowledge (financial services)Outstanding communications, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills. Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement actionable plans to drive business results. Eligibility
