Job Summary

As the PCB Technician you will work with our team performing PCB and system debugging of electronic hardware and software equipment in support of field and /or production to the component level. The candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with capacity to quickly grasp and resolve technical problems. The candidate will be excited solving real-world problems in the simplest and most cost-effective way. Conducts detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work. May assist in the design, construction, and test & troubleshoot, repair equipment. Will be responsible for performing HW reworks and upgrades.

Essential Job Functions:

Troubleshoot handheld ultrasound system, Transducers PCBAs, and accessories to the component level.
Provide repair of manufacturing failures and customer returned products.
Provide root cause analysis of failures as required.
Perform functional acceptance test for systems, Transducers, PC
B assemblies and Accessories.
Collect data, analyze results, and issue recommendations
Follow medical device design controls including detailed documentation.
Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.
Remanufacture Systems, Transducers and Accessories.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of laboratory and testing areas, including tool maintenance.
Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system

Knowledge and

Experience

2 year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
BS in engineering or science field preferred.
Certificate in TH and SMT soldering techniques.
Working knowledge of ESD controls.
Current knowledge of medical/electronic technology, especially medical ultrasound.
Experience in a medical equipment manufacturing and service environment.
Current knowledge of ASIC, Chip Scale, and SMT technologies.
Experience with Oracle Service.
Experience with basic circuit design & electronic components.
Experience with optical components & measurements.
Experience with basic hand tools.
Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to operate equipment such as repair tools, handheld and electronic.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs with or without accommodations.
