Sr Director, Human Resources Business Partnership
DescriptionThe Opportunity The Sr Director, Human Resources Business Partnership will lead the global HR Business Partner team to deliver exceptional support to our corporate functions and help evolve the way we serve our client groups. This HR leader will act as a strategic business partner facilitating and driving organizational initiatives by identifying and implementing creative HR solutions, championing the culture, and driving talent strategies globally, linking development and leadership initiatives to drive business strategy and measurable results. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and will provide a full range of HR expertise to the RF leadership team by proactively consulting and advising on people issues.
ResponsibilitiesActs as a strategic partner in the development of the organization's plans and programs and translates them into solutions, process and policies that are practical, efficient, and reflective of RF's values and principles. Establishes the HRBP team as an indispensable, go-to partner to functional business units and leaders across all geographies. Owns front-line intake with leaders, managers, and individual contributors, and independently drives HR issues thru to resolution. With the HRBP team implements all aspects of RF's People Strategy. Is instinctive enough to jump on critical business issues & opportunities, scrappy enough to get operational items resolved, and savvy enough to work across all levels in the organization. Influences the right outcomes for the business and elevate RF's employment brand and unique culture. Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory/compliance action as areas impacting the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of the people resources in the company. Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and evaluates the organization's people strategy. Develops human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps. Acts as a trusted advisor for RF leaders on all people-related matters. Works with senior leadership to develop effective internal communications (between and among management and employees) to sustain culture and achieve company-wide aggressive goals. Coaches and develops relationships that inspire a culture of mutual accountability, constructive collaboration, and quick, iterative execution. Leads and develops a team of HR business partners that help managers have impact through consistent performance-management practices, intelligent organizational design, and clear and transparent communication. Ensures RF is a safe and equitable place to work where employees feel included, know how to raise concerns and provide actionable feedback, and any organizational or personnel issues are identified and appropriately remedied. Works hard to establish confidential communication channels ensuring all employees have clear, trusted advocates ready to listen and act on employee relations issues. Leads an HRBP team that champions employee engagement, diversity and inclusion across the organization. Role models partnership and collaboration across the HR team, building strong working relationships with HR CoEs. Thinks and acts globally, ensuring our HR programs have broad applicability across our global markets while adapting to local regulations and norms. Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business' financial position, its short- and long-term plans, its culture and its competition. Partners with our Talent team to launch focused development and solutions to evolve the functional expertise and development within your respective functional groups. Owns the execution of employee engagement programs, career path planning and workforce plans that raise the bar on our overall talent strength. Serves as a conduit between the People Operations team (compensation, benefits, systems) and the business functions. Role models servant leadership; an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment with a strong internal customer service focus.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in HR-related field or Business Administration required; Master's Degree or MBA preferred.12 years of HR or equivalent business experience, with at least 8 years of experience leading high-performing HRBP teams within a high-growth environment at progressive companies with a global footprint. Possess solid functional expertise across all general areas of HR, including Organizational Design, Workforce Planning, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Experience, Talent and Performance Management, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and Employment LawComfortable in ambiguity and can pull relevant components out of complex situations to connect the dots and make sound decisions and know when to escalate appropriately. A true hands-on leader as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement and satisfaction. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance culture where the business is constantly evolving.

Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to manage both direct and indirect reporting relationships and build individual and team capabilities through direction, collaboration, feedback, and coaching. Strong business and financial acumen. Oriented towards a high EQ; embraces feedback. A well-organized and self-directed individual with demonstrated ability to be proactive, prioritize work and handle multiple assignments and priorities in a timely manner.
Strong conflict resolution, negotiating, communication and facilitation skills.
Effectively relates to a wide variety of diverse styles and is able to find common ground. Treats differences fairly and equitably and treats everyone as a preferred customer.
