Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) in Tucson, AZ is seeking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Management professional to fill the critical role of Global Supply Chain Program Area Leader in the strategically important Air Dominance Product Area. In this role you will report to the Director of Supply Chain for the Air Power

Mission

Area and the Program Area Leader will be accountable for all aspects of supply chain in production, development and classified program elements, delivering over $500M per year in supply chain content. The individual will lead a team of both direct and matrixed employees responsible for managing the complete strategic and tactical supply chain needs of the product area, requiring a leader who is collaborative, forward thinking and able to execute indynamic and classified environments. This leader will have daily involvement with the core supply chain organizations, customers, suppliers, program managers, functional managers, and business leaders, and the leader must be able to communicate effectively across the organization and externally at all levels. The Global Supply Chain Program Area Leader creates, manages and executes the material program strategies and plans for the program area, to ensure the competitiveness and performance of all programs throughout their entire lifecycle (proposal through closeout).Key responsibilities include: sales forecasting and execution, proposals, negotiations, Estimates at Completion, Risk and Opportunity Management, Earned Value Management (EVM), make/buy/where, Line of Balance, Hardware Build Chain & Can
- Build metrics. Understanding and navigating regulatory compliance (i.e.
FAR/DFARS, ITAR, OPSEC, security classification guides, public law, quality, warranty, etc.) is important. The leader will identify and secure core supply chain resources necessary to support the capture and execution plans and manages the overall supply chain responsibilities and have working knowledge of Material Program Planning (MRP).

Required Skills

12+ years supply chain experience in areas of material management, program management, sourcing, supplier management, subcontract management, procurement and /or engineering. Experience as a people manager; encouraging and in support of performance management activities, goal setting, career counseling, compensation planning, and employee training and /or talent development while managing employees and employee relations issues within varying levels of the Organization. Demonstrated leadership experience, collaboratively leading, managing and developing multi-disciplined teams with proven results for a complex product domain, high-technology manufacturer or a similar large enterprise matrix organization.
Demonstrated negotiation skills developed from contracts, proposal management, supplier management, capture management or similar negotiating activities. Experience with and knowledge of defense acquisition.
US CitizenshipU.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. DoD Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Additional clearances may also be required from the Department of Defense (DoD)Desired

Skills

Experience working in classified environments. Knowledge of US defense industry supply base. Experience supporting product life cycle including development, production and sustainment. Experience in recruiting, training, mentoring, and coaching a diverse team. Knowledgeable and competent in supply chain and program tools and technology. Experience with schedule creation, maintenance, forecasting, and analysis experience. Demonstrated strategic leadership and capabilities in implementing innovative system level solutions. Current active security clearance.

Education

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Program Management or Engineering. Preferred Master's Degree in relevant field of study such as Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering.
