Job Description

Candidates must have resided in the U.S. for three of past five years to meet the residency requirement for the project.

GDIT has recently been awarded a HHS Electronic Invoicing (E-Invoicing) Implementation for the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) contract in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources (ASFR) Office of Finance (OF). On this Program, we will implement the Department of Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) electronic invoicing solution in the UFMS environment. Additionally, we will implement web services using Oracle's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to integrate the Office of Acquisition's (OA) Purchase Request Information System (PRISM) with UFMS. Beyond the technical solution, we will support supplier on-boarding, necessary policy and business process changes, and implementation of necessary Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities.

Ultimately this is primarily an on-site position in Washington DC, SW. It will start out as fully-remote due to Covid
- 19 and may morph into a hybrid pending broader GDIT and Federal guidelines.

Job Summary

Understands multiple and specific module configurations and integration with major functional areas. Translates customer requirements into a best fit within the application and develops processes and documentation that support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Contributes overall strategic vision and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding implementation and support. Provides expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex support problems. Delivers accountabilities in accordance with approved SDLC processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as a top level technical or functional expert supporting one or more clients and unlimited user groups.
  • Instructs users on use of new features/changes to the application.
  • Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies.
  • Works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals.
  • Follow up with the next level tech to make sure no ticket is left behind without a solution.
  • Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.
  • Performs business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.
  • Develops documents and executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Reports problems which might affect total customer operation performance to customer's management and to direct manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and

Experience

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of experience (or equivalent; Masters and 7+ years)
  • Oracle Federal Financials FV, GL, AP, AR, PO - at least 5 years
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL / PL-SQL - ability to write queries using TOAD
  • Knowledge of Oracle USSGL Accounting
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Tool.

Preferred Skills and

Experience

  • Experience in a Federal environment
  • Experience implementing IPP with Oracle Financials
  • Knowledge of UFMS
