Director, Product Management (PharmD)

Director, Product Management RxBenefits is hiring We are adding a Director, Product Management to our growing team. The Director, Product Management is responsible owning the product lifecycle, defining market requirements, and creating the product and innovation roadmap that will maintain the company’s existing clients while planning for longer term growth. In partnership with the executive team they will implement new product and features to accomplish our multi-year revenue goal. This position will be located in Birmingham, AL or Remote with frequent trips to the corporate office (Birmingham, AL). Job

Responsibilities

Include:
• Must have experience building a matrix of "market/industry themes" that will serve as the single category of all product and innovation ideas
• Manage the defined gating process for evaluating new potential products and facilitate the selection of the top product/innovation ideas that support our revenue targets
• Outline competitive advantage and why we will win
• Pricing Strategy
• Assist with the Marketing Strategy
• Monitor the adoption and success criteria
• Finalize the Product Framework and build out the content for each product that gets approved from Gate Zero
• Create and Maintain our Product Road Map and Portfolio Summary for each product
• Hire and onboard the approved positions for the Product team
• Provide coaching and guidance to new team members
• Consistently convey the strategy of the company so they understand priorities

Required

Skills / Experience Include:
• 10 years in the pharmacy or health care space
• 5 years’ working in product management and innovation
• PharmD, preferred
• Experience in strategic planning product and innovation roadmaps in collaboration with executive, sales, IT, and key operational groups
• Proven record of developing and delivering products for health or pharmacy insurance companies
• Strong process improvement and vendor management skills are required.
• Highly collaborative; team player
• Ability to influence and build consensus at all levels within the organization
• Sets high standards and goals
• Ability to lead, create and work within cross
- functional team environments
• Ability to develop and manage a high-performance team focused on accountability and exceeding expectations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (internal and external facing)
• Must thrive under pressure and in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with multiple priorities
