The Challenge: It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the worlds fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan ahead, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle.

This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, you will be responsible for the security and integrity of our systems that keep our jets flying. As a dedicated database administrator for our F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) team, you will be empowered to assure the integrity of our system by maintaining the internal databases and applications while collaborating directly with our customers as a trusted point of contact.
A Day in the Life: Working directly with our customers at Nellis, AFB Nevada, you will do everything from carrying out and sustaining system-wide backups, to disaster recover, support, and troubleshooting. Qualifications

- Candidates must hold an active DoD Top Secret clearance with a security clearance investigation within 6 years
- Experience in Database Administration
and/or Development
- Experience with COTS database software and tools (Oracle, SQ
L and/or Siebel)Desired

Skills

- Demonstrated SQL and database administration skills, which may include:o Importing large data volumes and managing large Oracle and SQLServer databaseso SQL/PL-SQL knowledge to execute/troubleshoot scripts and performance tune databases
- Demonstrated system administration skills, to include: Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Storage Area Network Fabric systems and IP Switch Fabric systems
- Have, or be able to obtain, and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security)

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week.
