Business Process Consultant
Our client is looking for a Business Process Consultant for their office in Durham, NC - Start remote until at least 2021!
Candidates MUST be strong in Agile (value stream), Design Thinking, and process experience. If qualified, please send your resume to Sarah at Leads working sessions to enhance effectiveness of the organization at the divisional and enterprise level by linking business strategy to business process by understanding value streams, themes, and goals. This position will lead cross functional teams to solve large, complex andor ambiguous business problems and drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, design thinking, customer journey, and other continuous process improvement tools.
Job DescriptionSupport the Client Enterprise Analytics Initiative projects in a specialist role. Lead innovation sessions and transform our processes to improve their customers experience focused on the value streams and goals. Improve their agile ITIL processes and transform their business and operations.
Lead large, complex andor ambiguous Business Process Improvement initiatives identified across the enterprise. This includes application of continuous process improvement skills and methodologies to articulate the problem, baseline current state, analyze root cause, recommend improvements, and monitor results. Achieve an outcome that provides sustainable solutions to the client.
Lead divisional leaders through identification of Business Process Improvement opportunities and the prioritization and sequencing of the resulting portfolio Support the deployment of process excellence across the organization and the enterprise through delivery of formal training on Lean and Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Value Stream Mapping, etc. , mentoring projects executed within a division, and championing business process methods in communities of practice.
Lead internal management consulting efforts as identified and as needed. This includes unbiased assessment and resulting recommendations to managers and executives.
Contribute to structure, procedures, and templates within the department to enhance the value-add to the enterprise. Works with department leadership and colleagues to continuously improve department offerings and share best practices of business process knowledge and tools Proactively mentor other Business Process Consultants and Business Process Consultant Associates within the department, both formally and informally.

RequirementsBachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience (or Master's degree with 4 years' experience) as a Management Consultant, Business Analyst andor Project Manager.
If no degree, 8 years' experience as a Management Consultant, Business Analyst andor Project Manager is required.
Hiring Preferences Masters' Degree in Business, Information Services, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.
Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
Proven success handling complex andor ambiguous business problems and consulting with leaders regarding larger scale process redesign or change management.
Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (or must obtain within 1 year of employment). Proven track record of self-development and professional growth Design thinking experience Customer Journey experience ITIL experience Business Process Management Hands-on experience in the application of business process analysis tools including but not limited to Current state processes analysis, current state performance and metrics, issue identification, root cause analysis, business case development, cost benefit analysis, future state design, roles and responsibilities, metrics, process control and management Proven ability to plan and deploy business process initiatives Proven ability to apply business process principles to ambiguous and complex business solutions Ability to create visualization and high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business capabilities Proven facilitation experience in complex, high risk, group dynamics including designing workshops, facilitating sessions and working with teams Ability to develop metrics, collects data, analyze data to identify root cause, measures performance against process requirements.
