Administrative Services Lead

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Administrative Services Lead (ASL) role is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of administrative professionals that provide administrative support and act as thought partners to staff based in BCG offices across the North America region (NAMR). We expect our administrative assistants to be a master of tasks, but also strategic thinkers that go beyond transactional support. The goal of the administrative function is to deliver the highest level of service to our clients, both internal and external. The role will require a strategic mindset, strong leadership and performance management skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and team effectively with key stakeholders and peers across different parts of the organization.
ASLs report directly to the NAMR Administrative Services Manager. This position is intended to manage a team based in the Nexus office working for Eastern or Pacific time zone customers. As such, normal business hours may be 8:30 - 5:00 PM or 10:30am
- 7:00pm Eastern.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Working with the Administrative Services Manager (ASM) to implement a strategy for administrative support out of the Nexus Atlanta office Assisting in the hiring and on-boarding process for administrative staff.
Ensuring your team is meeting quality service expectations, proactively identifying issues and suggesting remedies.
Overseeing the day to day operations of your team.
Managing overall performance and development of your team.
Working collaboratively with the ASM and other ASLs to identify process and people improvements.
Participating and contributing to regional projects and initiatives, as appropriateYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE &

QUALIFICATIONS

)Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Several years of experience managing large teams, preferably managing people who are providing remote support.
Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems; ability to settle issues as they arise.
Ability to implement and support change management.
Strong service orientation and sensitivity in responding to customer needs.
Ability to form effective relationships with people in other locations.
Ability to handle difficult and confidential situations with poise, understanding, and tact.
Confidence, authority, and enthusiasm, excelling in leading, mentoring, and motivating an administrative services department.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Unflappable, thick-skin with the personal fortitude to push back when necessaryYOU'LL WORK WITH
The NAMR Administrative Services team based in Nexus consists of Administrative professionals, Administrative Services Leads, and an Administrative Services Manager. The team is tight-knit and works collaboratively to support customers across BCG.BCG Nexus is an exciting new office based in Atlanta, GA, that is part of executing best-in-class operations serving the broader BCG business. Various regional and global functional teams will be co-located in a dynamic and engaging space that enables team members to connect with and serve our BCG and client customer base.
