Account Manager Client Services manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts. Acts as outward
- facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact (not call center) and large or complex accounts. Builds relationships with employer / group clients (not individual members) and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day
- to
- day service delivery. Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs. This function includes employees who are in dedicated on-site service roles. Jobs in this function may work closely with sales on renewals and upselling, but incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales. Account management jobs focused primarily on relationship and service management belong in this family; jobs with significant sales responsibilities or sales-related incentives (including 'OTH' plans) belong in a sales band. Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one account with multiple lines of business Performs systems analysis to determine source of technical issues, and act as liaison between external clients and internal departments to resolve these issues Acts as outward
- facing, dedicated resource with direct client contact for complex account Builds relationships with pharmacy department and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day

- related incentives (including 'OTH' plans) belong in a sales band Ownership of complex client issues, driving quick and lasting solutions Exceeds all assigned KPI goals and expectations Uses good judgment, integrity, confidentiality and professional conduct at all times Exemplifies commitment, discipline and a solid work ethic to manage multiple challenges and exceed client expectations Exhibits detail orientation and is adept at organizing multiple tasks, data points, requests and issues Exhibits effective written and verbal communication skills Meets with clients on a regular basis to build rapport, present analytics on program outcomes, reinforces value of services provided, ask probing questions to identify other client opportunities, answers contract questions and coordinates responses to issues that may involve other internal departments Identifies deliverables and manage to due dates Complete service requests to translate customer needs and requirements for OptumRx's product support and development team You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required

Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 2 years Client relationship management and / or Account Management experience 1 years of experience working with Rx Claims adjudication 1 year of Commercial and Exchange experience Intermediate proficiency within Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter) and Cognos reporting Prior experience gathering client requirements Prior experience explaining client requirements to internal partners Ability to Travel 25%
- 40% to visit clients
PreferredQualifications:
Knowledge of Medicare Part D Advanced understanding of PBM industry, OptumRx systems and software knowledge (RxClaim, Mail systems, etc.) Pharmacy Tech Certification
Soft Skills:
Strong oral and written communication Experience prioritizing and meeting deadlines Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators
